Brain researcher
I hold a PhD in psychology and brain sciences. I have professional experience in Finland, the United States, and France. My PhD dissertation focused on the neural mechanisms of short-term memory. Currently, I investigate early language acquisition, development of lexical-semantic networks, and brain development in early childhood. I am also interested in the factors within the linguistic environment that influence language development in bilingual children.
Brain research is fascinating! I stay up-to-date with the latest scientific findings on factors affecting brain health. I deliver lectures on the brain and brain health to working-age and elderly individuals. Additionally, I train coaches on the fundamentals of brain function, aiming to integrate insights from cognitive neuroscience research into coaching practices.

Coach
Due to my academic work, I have experience in supervising and mentoring students. In my coaching, my aim is to encourage students to find their unique life paths, strengths, and resources, both professionally and personally.
In family counseling, the focus is on understanding how everyday language use affects a child's language development. The well-being of the family plays a central role in the counseling.
Volunteering is a powerful act of service that can transform lives, uplift communities, and create lasting positive change. It not only helps to reduce suffering and build connections but also enriches one's sense of purpose. While it requires time and resources from those who give, the rewards are profound. As a coach, I not only volunteer myself but also support others in their volunteer efforts.

Student of somatic therapy
I am studying mindfulness-based body-centered psychotherapy at the Hakomi Institute of Mallorca (https://hakomimallorca.com/). Hakomi, rooted in mindfulness, involves guided self-exploration, where we focus on the present moment, paying attention to bodily sensations, feelings, memories, emotions, and thoughts.
I am also a student member of the European Association for Body Psychotherapy (https://eabp.org/). In my coaching, I incorporate mindfulness and somatic techniques, and I sometimes offer the opportunity to experience Hakomi for free as a practice client. Feel free to reach out!
